July 2025 Catch Report

Steve, Tony & Gavin

This week we had first timers at Bertie. Steve, Tony & Gavin. Again it’s been a very hot week making the fishing tricky. But the lads still managed to land 17 fish which included 12 carp and 5 cats. Fish of the week was a whopping 129lb catfish. They had such a great time they rebooked straight away for the next 2 years!!

First visit to Bertie, very pretty lake. Weather was very hot which made the fishing quite hard. Tony managed to get one of the big cats at 129lbs. Food was excellent. Lee, Omm and the boys made us feel very welcome. First trip but it won’t be our last!
