April 2023 Catch Report

The Poppy family

The Poppy family ( Dad and 2 sons) had a great week fishing at Etang Bertie. It was their first time fishing in France and they were not disappointed. Pb’s broken all round! They landed 35 fish, again with an average of over 30lb. The biggest carp was a 44lb common and the biggest cat was 130lb.

Fish caught:
3 x 40lb+ 
14 x 30lb+
11 x 20lb+
3 x doubles 
4 x cats biggest 130lb.

Amazing first trip to France for fishing!
Fantastic hospitality, nothing is ever too much trouble. Fishing was top notch with so many amazing fish being hooked every day. To top it off, the food was delightful, none of us were ever hungry after!
